Scripture reference:
Psalm 19v1-14
God reveals himself in 3 primary ways:
1) General relevation through Nature
2) Special relevation through His inspired Word
3) Through Jesus Himself -- "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father" (John 14v7)
How has God made Himself known to me?
There are a number of ways:
1) Through his servants
2) Through His Word
3) Through His Holy Spirit
4) Through signs and wonders
O Lord, thank you that your Holy Spirit is my counselor and special friend. As I set aside time to seek you through reading your word and reflection, I ask for your revelation to be made known to me.
Jesus, you are my shephard and I, your sheep shall hear your voice.
Keep my spirit humbled before you and grant that I may be like Moses who has seen your very presence before his very own eyes.
Grant that I may be like David who has a heart for you and that you'll make an everlasting convenant with me.
Grant that I may be like Jonah who was disciplined in love by the Lord for being prideful.
